Hmm... both have their interesting aspects. Pokemon, for instance, makes up for its lack of story and interesting characters with classic RPG aspects as well as heavy media coverage, while Digimon's games, while not without their own charms, aren't quite high enough in quality to compete.

However, the world Digimon takes place in is lushly-designed, with a wealth of interesting characters and hidden nuances that leave Digimon fans constantly wanting more. While I'm not a big fan of the later epsiodes, I always find the Digimon themselves to be very interesting.

Especially Diaboromon. I <3 creatures that try to murder children with nuclear missiles. WEB WRECKER!
